Q.  Is fuel included in the rental fee?

A.  Yes.  There is no additional charge for fuel.

Q.  If I pay the 50% deposit to rent watercraft and the weather is bad, do I get my deposit back?

A.  If the weather is unsafe (ie. thunderstorms, high waves) we can either reschedule your appointment if possible or you will be issued a refund.

Q.  How do I rent more than one jet ski at a time when I'm on the website?

A.  Go through the process of reserving one but do not pay the deposit.  Then when prompted to "Make another appointment", go back and reserve another jet ski and at that point you can pay the deposit for both.  Include in the "Notes" section that you have reserved more than one.

Q.  How old do you have to be to drive the watercraft?

A.  You must be 21 years old to rent watercraft.  If you are at least 18 you can drive with a parent or guardian present.

Q.  What is the cancellation policy?

A.  Unless the weather is unsafe or the appointment can be re-rented, due to high demand, we cannot issue a refund for cancellation.

Q.  Can I rent a tube, water skis, or a wakeboard with the boat?

A.  Yes, the tube is $20, skis are $25, and the wakeboard is $30.  This can be arranged at the time of rental.

Q.  Are tubes or skis allowed with the jet ski rentals?

A.  No, due to safety concerns, there is no towing allowed with jet ski rentals.

A.  Eastern time (EST), which is 1 hour ahead of Chicago (Central) time.

Q.  How far can we take the watercraft?

A.  You are allowed to venture within approximately a 15 mile radius.

Q.  Can I take the watercraft to a beach?

A.  Yes, the boat has an anchor and we can provide an anchor for the jet skis.  However, you will need to be very careful to not take the watercraft into shallow water which could damage the prop on the boat or clog the intake on the jet skis.

Q.  Is there a security deposit that I'm required to pay?

A.  Yes, we do take a $2500 security deposit for the boat and $1000 security deposit for jet skis.  This is an imprint of a credit card which will be held until the vessel is returned without damange, excepting normal wear and tear.  We don't process the card, only an imprint is taken.

Q.  What is the difference between a jet ski and a waverunner or seadoo?

A.  None. We use Jet Ski as a generic term for personal watercraft.
